Daily Devotional for June 10: God is in Control

When we face difficulties in life, it can be tempting to question whether or not God is really in control. We may feel like we are alone and that no one understands what we are going through. However, it is important to remember that God is always with us, even in the darkest of times. The Bible tells us that “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble” (Psalm 46:1). This means that no matter what we are facing, God is always there for us. He knows what we are going through and he has a plan for us.

It can be difficult to trust that God is in control when everything around us seems to be falling apart. However, we need to remember that God is sovereign and he knows what he is doing. We may not always understand his plan, but we can trust that he knows what is best for us. When we surrender our lives to him, we can rest assured that he will take care of us. So, if you are struggling to trust that God is in control, remember that he is always with you and he has a plan for you.

Devotional Prayer for June 10

Heavenly Father, we come to You today humbly admitting that we don’t always trust in Your sovereignty. We often find ourselves living in fear instead of faith; worrying about the future instead of living each day to the fullest. But we know that You are sovereign over all, and that nothing happens without Your knowledge or permission. Help us to trust You more, especially when times are uncertain. Give us courage to face each day, knowing that You are in control. Thank You for being a good and loving God who cares for us deeply. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

10th of June Daily Scripture Reflection

In Psalm 74:17, we are reminded that God is the one who has set all the borders of the earth. This includes both physical borders, such as between countries, and seasonal borders, such as between summer and winter. As we look around at the world, it is easy to see how God has created a beautiful variety of landscapes and climates. Whether we live in the desert or the mountains, the tropics or the Arctic, we can find evidence of God’s handiwork. And as the seasons change, we are given a constant reminder of God’s power and faithfulness. Even though the world is constantly changing, we can be confident that God is in control. The borders He has set will remain firm, and His love for us will never change.
